Pamela Akins was born and raised in Orlando Florida. After graduating high school, she entered the US Army for several years and received an honorable discharge. Pamela returned to school earning a college degree in Business Administration with extended studies in Management from Columbia College of Missouri.
Pamela's life began to change when she experienced physical and mental abuse from previous relationships. She found herself on her bedroom floor crying asking God for his help. It was then when she stood up from the floor and knew without a shadow of a doubt that she had been changed never to be the same again.
In February 2003, after attending a conference, it was pressed upon her heart to take a praise dance class. She took a dance class for approximately 1 month (March 2003). During this time, the instructor advised her to dance the way the Holy Spirit moved her. Unable to follow the choreographed routine, the dance moves became spontaneous each time she practiced. It was then that she realized that she had a prophetic anointing in dance.
Pamela has been dancing to the glory of God since April 2003. Whenever she dances chains are broken, deliverance takes place and people are healed. She ministers spontaneously allowing the Holy Spirit to overtake her. The sweet smell of the presence of God perfumes the room as she ministers through dance.
Pamela is currently a member and ministers at her home church New Jerusalem City Ministry under the leadership of Pastor James Farmer Jr and Co Pastor Lori Farmer.
Pamela is fueled with the passion to minister the word of God through dance. God has continued to bless her with new levels of his anointing a she demonstrates the need to worship God in spirit and in truth.
